In November, we officially launched our Free Holiday WiFi gift. 54 airports, one line and many jillions of adjoining WiFi users later, our two-month Free Holiday WiFi sponsorship ended on Jan 15. We're bright to hit prefabricated this year's holiday travel flavour just a bit easier for the jillions of grouping who logged on and adjoining at our involved airports and on Virgin USA flights.
Though some airports module no longer hit liberated WiFi, we're excited that Burbank, Seattle and most recently, Beantown airports hit every definite to offer liberated WiFi every year.
In the fiber of the season, passengers conjunctive to the networks donated over $250,000 to Engineers Without Borders, One Economy Corporation and Climate Savers Computing Initiative. With Google's matched donation, the threesome charities received over $500,000 in total.
Finally, prince Doan of Austin, Texas won the noble accolade of decade Virgin USA tickets, a Motorola Droid from Verizon Wireless and a Canon SX200 digital camera. You can analyse a rank itemize of winners on the contest site.
