Have you ever noticed that a lot of the large cities in Google Earth have photo-realistic 3D buildings in them? (See Valencia, for example.) Have you ever wondered when someone's feat to get around to modeling the world's smaller towns and villages? Today, we're giving you the quantity to add your possess municipality to the map.
We're entertained to announce the first-ever, planetary Google Model Your Town Competition. You're invited to use our liberated tools SketchUp and Building Maker to make trusty your community is represented on the world's biggest 3D stage. Every municipality that participates has the quantity to be included in Google Earth's 3D Buildings layer where jillions of grouping can see it. The winning municipality (as definite by a popular vote) module get money for its schools, a Google-sponsored band for its modelers and plentitude more.
