The Earth's Satellites, Visualized By Nation [Satellites]

Thank you for visiting my Blog

As accumulation image has become more popular, bad infographics have started to crop up more and more frequently. Thankfully, we crapper ever rely on archangel Paukner to make very, rattling good ones. Here he shows the satellites orbiting our planet.

Russia, as you might expect, has a whole aggregation of satellites that are no individual functioning. China is answerable for a surprisingly super turn of tiny expanse trash, though I'm not just clear on what that is. America, of course, is answerable for the largest turn of expanse trash.

Seeing how some busted satellites rest in orbit directly reminded me of the environs in Wall-E in which the Earth of the forthcoming is seen enveloped in a layer of orbiting techno-trash. Let's wish it doesn't come to that.

Michael Paukner has a aggregation of other awing stuff, space-related and otherwise, so check discover his Flickr if you're interested. [Michael Paukner via We Love Dataviz]
