iPhone OS 3.2 Supports Video Calls, File Downloads, and Pseudo-Multitasking? [Apple]

Thank you for visiting my Blog

The folks at Engadget feature they've confirmed that the iPhone OS 3.2 has "rudimentary" support for recording occupation and file downloading. They feature there are also hints of something that sounds like multitasking.

File downloading and local storage in the application could be great. Just envisage finally existence able to grab a strain off the cyberspace and actually spend it on your iPhone. The daydreamer in me wants to believe that files downloaded in much a manner would be reachable by every applications. I'd download a cheesy tune from an artist's website, confiscate it to an telecommunicate to my lover, upload it for bill on Twitter, and force my musical preferences onto the whole world without ever needing to set down my iPhone.

The suasion of multitasking comes from the fact that there appears to be a function to run recording calls in "either flooded concealment fashion or in just a portion of the screen." Engadget is rendering this as meaning that you'll be able to "chat and do other things at the aforementioned time." As lovely as that every sounds, what's the saucer of recording chat capabilities in devices without front-facing cameras anyway?

All the way-too-early excitement aside, an important thing to keep in nous is that the SDK this aggregation is existence pulled from is the aforementioned for the iPhone as it is for the iPad. It's tough to verify which features would apply to which device. That and the fact that this aggregation is supported on an SDK and possibleness options. There's no indorse that we'll wager some of this in the iPhone OS 4.0. Or ever. [Engadget]
